Haribo Bear Academy

Designing board games is one of our specialties. We have been involved in this since the beginning of our business and have designed hundreds of games. This time, in collaboration with Haribo and child psychologists, we created, among other things, a detailed, fairy-tale world map that also serves as a game board. The map is traversed by a game piece, and the set also includes an illustrated instruction manual, a CD envelope, CD printing, and a box. The children’s game design turned out great, pleasing both preschoolers and their caregivers. A record number of 2400 institutions participated in the fun! The happy winners were rewarded with gifts from Haribo and Alexander. As part of this project, we also created Haribo Bear puzzles, which were one of the prizes.

Our task was to develop packaging in line with the client’s brand book and key visual created for the campaign. Additionally, we designed game elements: the instruction manual, envelope, and CD printing, as well as the game piece and, most importantly, the board. But that’s not all. Designing board games is a complex process, so we also designed the game mechanics, which aimed to teach children interesting facts about the world. The illustrated board, created specifically for Haribo, is the most crucial element. It showcases interesting customs of some of the peoples inhabiting different continents, celebrating diversity and highlighting the commonalities among people living in different parts of the Earth.
